Dermaplaning is an advanced exfoliation procedure, this highly effective treatment removes the top layer of dead and damaged skin cells along with villous face hair the end result is a flawless glowing complexion, the treatment also serves to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Dermaplaning is a non-invasive treatment suitable for all skin types.
The Dermaplaning treatment is performed using a sterile surgical scalpel held at a 45-degree angle; due to this, the procedure is often referred to as facial shaving. Sessions take no longer than 30 minutes have no adverse effects and are completely pain-free, Dermplaning is relatively new in the UK but has been used in the US for many years primarily as a non-invasive alternative to chemical peels.

Will my hair grow back thicker or darker?
No this is simple not possible as the hairs thickness and darkness is controlled on a physiological level meaning it is impossible for Dermaplaning to alter the makeup of your hair. Your natural soft and fine vellous hair will grow back roughly 4 weeks from the initial treatment.
How often should the treatment be performed?
Each treatment removes between 14 and 21 days of dead skin cells, due to this Dermaplaning offers optimum results when performed every 3 to 4 weeks.
Does the treatment hurt?
This non-invasive alternative to chemical peels is completely safe and pain free, as such many clients find the dermaplaning treatment very relaxing.
For 24 hours post treatment your skin will be highly sensitive to Sun exposure, wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen of SPF30 Or higher will significantly reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation.
